Bike-Energy are the only chargers in the world that solve the 'BYO Charger' problem - by keeping the charging intelligence in the charger and swapping just the cable as needed.
Everyone else delivers a glorified 3-pin plug, for the public to plug their own charger into. This is like asking motorists to bring their own pump to a petrol station.

INCONVENIENCE
Carrying your own charger is inconvenient - you need a bag or a rack on your bike, and you have to have planned to take it with you.
THEFT / DAMAGE RISK
Chargers are expensive and have a resale value, therefore leaving them plugged in at a public location is a theft / vandalism risk which needs securing against - usually meaning locked cabinets, which require keys being managed. Also chargers must not be exposed to rain, as they aren't waterproof.
THE ANSWER
A charging solution where a lightweight, compact cable can be owned and carried by a cyclist, or loaned to them at your location. Across Europe, Bike-Energy locations have a selection of cables for loan to visitors, or cables can be secured to the charging stations.
Cables can be purchased by individuals if desired for convenience, and as customer demand changes the mix of cables held for loan can be updated.
Loan cables create an opportunity for locations to offer booking of chargers at set times, aligning with visitor schedules to ensure charging availability. This removes visitor anxiety and creates new revenue / loyalty opportunities for host locations.

Proof Of Concept
CycleRx can design a Proof Of Concept (POC) trial, using a charging station designed to sit on the ground and not require invasive works or a permanent electrical installation. UK billing
CycleRx is a UK Community Interest Company. Through our sister company we handle the importing of the chargers from Austria, look after customs and VAT, as well as warranty work.

Our aim is to provide a seamless process that minimises complexity and ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
